Fork Open System Maps is an experimental cartographic network dedicated to tracing and archiving the residual geographies of worlds effaced from contemporary spatial knowledge. It documents undocumented items, obsolete routes, and forgotten hotspots—sites that persist in memory, rumor, and trace rather than in sanctioned mapping systems. Through an open and evolving framework, the project reconsiders what constitutes a map, foregrounding the politics of disappearance, access, and the mutable boundaries of knowledge production.
